Meet Karen

Originally from Savannah, Georgia, I have lived in the Triad for over 10 years with my husband, our three teenage children, and three doggies.  When not working, you can find me spending time with my family, on the tennis court, or attempting to garden.

When I started treating adults in the Pelvic Health specialty of Physical Therapy I naively thought I would be helping women who leaked urine when they sneezed or jumped on the trampoline with their kids. But I found I was treating men and women with pelvic pain, urinary frequency, and chronic constipation, just to name a few.  I discovered that many people who have bowel and bladder issues as adults, had issues as children.  This prompted me to take additional training to treat children with bowel and bladder dysfunction.

As a mom of three, I know how when something affects one child it can affect the whole family.  You just want to be able to do what you want to do, without always having to plan life around the toilet. My goal is to help you and your child re-discover what your family life can be like once you have peace with toileting.  I am ready to work with you and your child, so don't hesitate any longer, call me!
