The pre-school and grade school years are times of great change.  And when your friend's child is getting the hang of toilet training and yours isn't, it can be hard.

For the pre-schooler, you may notice things like only pooping when they are standing and crossing their legs.  You may be able to tell they are withholding their BM while watching them squirm to avoid pooping.

For grade-schoolers, this can be a time when they are expected to have bowel and bladder control.  When they have bowel leakage and don't know it, or they can't make it to the bathroom to urinate, it can be frustrating as a parent.

We work on exercises, strategies for home and school, while teaching proper habits to help your child achieve independence.
